Dell Studio 15

>> 17.2.11

This Dell Studio 15 is not bad. Dell is not famous for its spectacular design of its computers, but to say that for about a year in this part of all new dell models can now also play the card of aesthetics. The studio 15 has a minimalist design that does its job very well: from the outside comes with simple lines and clear internally and repeats the line of the entire latest low-end dell, with a combo of gloss black and gray plastic that is not beautiful but certainly not ugly. In addition to being available in many different colors (we speak only of the upper skirt) dell has also introduced the ability to pay for skirts printed with illustrations of famous artists, all the more to decorate your "baby" and have personalizzarselo the opportunity to suit your taste.

The lcd panel is opened simply by opening it, without any particular key to press. It looks like a crap, but eventually it began to remove those annoying hooks and buttons which were used only to break their own a day after the warranty expires. Build quality is very good; the materials are pretty good and very well fitted. There are no squeaks and weird when you hold in your hand gives you a nice sense of strength. Brava dell.
Dell finally starts to mount dvd / cd slot-in to improve, and many more, the aesthetics of the handsets as well as help to reduce the overall thickness. On the right side we find the power button, the power supply connector, the slot-in reader, a usb port and card reader sd / mmc. On the left side there is the classic hole for kensington locks, one hdmi and one vga for video out, or to connect a second monitor / projector, ethernet port, one esata port and a usb port alongside a firewire 1394, the microphone jack and two headphone jacks (great idea).

Excellent presence hdmi port, it will be easier to connect your dell to a nice hd tv to see each other a nice or at one of the last filmazzo figosi projectors. Eye, however, that hdmi is a bit a 'poor woman: it transmits only the video (no audio!) And is not compatible with all tv, i read around a number of connection problems. Of course, better than anything you say.

Useful esata port and two headphone jacks ... Too bad there are only two usb ports, one on each side... Buy a hub is increasingly essential as all the producers ultimately shit usb ports with the dropper.
The screen on this dell is the classic 15.6-inch widescreen with a 16:10 ratio with 1366 x 768 resolutions, led backlight and nothing really bad, it's called dell truelife ™... Call it what you like, but it's better to be a display mounted on a laptop so cheap. The resolution is not great (i expected a 1440) but is bright and defined. Obviously has the usual glossy patina well only for the marketing department that makes it unwatchable in the sun and very beautiful in the dark... You have to say... Now they are all so shiny, we get used to strength.
The 6-cell battery offers bundled services in media with normal use and the screen at half brightness you work for a good three hours and a half, so all ok. If you want to watch a movie under the same settings you get two and a half hours to three... Based on what light you hold the screen.
